I'm an engineer and writer on a team dedicated to building AI-powered tooling and automation to modernize our documentation workflow. Our team develops agent skills, hooks, and new AI-supported processes that streamline how writers work and bring AI directly into the docs process.
Alongside this tooling work, I write documentation for new features on MongoDB's core Server product. My work on the documentation team follows a docs-as-code workflow: using rST/Markdown language to write documentation, versioning using Git, and pushing to an open-source monorepo shared across MongoDB's documentation sites, where the work is reviewed by writers, engineers, and product managers before publishing.
On the Server Docs team, I co-lead documentation for the Networking & Observability and Workload Resilience teams, as well as for the MongoDB Shell, the MongoDB VS Code extension, and the MongoDB IntelliJ extension sites.
›AI DOCS TOOLING & AGENTIC WORKFLOWS
- Currently building an AI-powered documentation QA system that uses multi-agent evaluation to measure whether feature documentation actually enables accurate question answering.
- Built agent hooks that enforce the team's Git process for Claude-based coding agents (git process hooks & PR size checks)
- Built hooks that flag and block oversized PRs, based on a self-led audit of optimal PR size to reduce reviewer bottlenecks.
- Built a ref-anchor checker that validates anchor changes against every docs site before merge, preventing broken builds across the docs platform.
- Developed agent skills that automatically fix nested component errors, broken external links, and SEO issues across the docs.
- Co-led an AI enablement session for 50+ docs writers and leads, the first presentation in a series of organization-wide sessions introducing AI-assisted workflows. Walked writers through AI-powered docs processes in small group activities.
›DOCS PLATFORM ENGINEERING
Work on the documentation platform team.
- Built and shipped TypeScript and React components for the docs site, including interactive wayfinding and inline video components.
- Authored automated tests and contributed 2 production PRs.

›PRODUCT OWNERSHIP
- Led end-to-end documentation for a year-long, cross-functional feature initiative spanning 5+ engineering teams and multiple releases — covering a breaking change affecting deployment availability, 2 new documentation pages, and 8+ sets of code examples.
- Led end-to-end documentation for a new MongoDB data-browsing playground experience in VS Code, collaborating with product and engineering through production release.
